Initial Design Consultation
Your custom gown journey begins with an initial consultation where we take time to understand your vision, style, and what you want your dress to feel like. We’ll talk through your wedding details, explore any inspiration you bring—photos, screenshots, or even just a general idea—and begin narrowing down silhouettes or elements that resonate with you.
We’ll also look at fabric options, discuss construction possibilities, and review your timeline so you know exactly what to expect moving forward. Pricing and budget are covered openly, with a clear estimate based on your design and fabric choices.
By the end of the consultation, you’ll have a solid understanding of the design direction, timeline, and next steps for bringing your custom gown to life.
Design Review
In the second meeting, we’ll review the initial sketches along with specific fabric and trim details. From there, we will narrow in on the design that feels most authentic to you.
First Fitting
At this point, measurements will have been taken and the first iteration of the chosen design will be patterned and mocked up in an available fabric. This fitting is to help visualize the silhouette and details and make any changes prior to cutting into the final fabrics.
Fabric Fittings
The dress is draped in the final fabrics and any final adjustments can be made at this time. This is ideally done at least 6 months out from the wedding date.
Final Fitting
Your vision has come to life and you can finally take your dream gown home with you!
